The weather has improved remarkably, in temperatures anyway, back to typical wet and windy weather. I rode to work most days. We didn’t have a Thirsty Thursday ride.
Saturday we got out on the tandem. We headed out to Great Eccleston and the Courtyard Cafe, but when we got there it was closed til the following week, so we headed round to Bonds for a tea cake. The weather had been sunny but cold. When we left Bonds it had clouded over and gone very cold, turning to hail by the time we got back home.
Sunday we went out again, this time to the Weird Fish, which is under new management. The weather was windier than Saturday but still sunny.
In all 87 miles for the year so far
